Fake sun tutorial!<3
Open what ever picture youwant to put the sun in, by going to photoshop > File > now locate your photo. Now that you have your photo open in photoshop, Find your "layers", it should be to the far left right, if not, go to window at the top of photoshop, & in the drop down menu, click layers. Now that you see you layers, find this little circle, pictured below & click on it!
Once you've clicked that, a menu will pop up, click GRADIENT (see below)
Now you'll see to choose your colors by clicking the gradient, here are the colors i chose.. (your colors will depend on your photo.
when you've got your colors, click OK, now these are my settings.. BE SURE that the style is radial & that "align with layer" is checked, as for your angle & scale, that'll depend on your photo! but here are all my settings..
Now click OK, Now go to your layers & make sure the "gradient fill" layer is selected, and find this menu
Click it & choose "Color dodge" or any setting that looks best with your photo, but thats usually the best one! right beside that menu, is an "opacity" bar that you can play with! if you feel your sun is too much, just lower the opacity! if that doesnt do it, click on the little gradient icon in your layers, and play with the settings & colors! this isnt a one size fits all, these settings will always depend on your photo! but these are the basics! if you want to learn sun rays, I have a tutorial for that as well! but here are my results for the sun! <3
