Cute stripe text tutorial <3
Ok, before we proceed with this tutorial, You need to create your pattern.. go to "stripe pattern" in my tutorials! & if you dont already, you need to know the basics of creating text, so please go check out "new document" tutorial first,& "creating text" tutorial, Now that you have your text typed out, this is what I have so far.. (I'm using the font "october twilight" at size 160pt <3
Now go your layers, pictured below..

Double click the text layer, when the "layer style" box pops up, click "pattern overlay" click the box with a pattern in it, and find the one you made from the tutorial & click it, now match the rest of your settings to mine..

Now go to inner shadow & match your settings to mine..

Now go to "gradient overlay" and match your settings to mine..

Now go to "stroke" & match your settings to mine (except for the size, that depends on the size of your personal text! my size for this could be too much for yours or too little! so just do what looks best, but everythingelse should match my settings below..

now click ok, create a new layer by clicking the addition box at the bottom of your layers, drag that new layer underneath your text layer, go to your text layer, right click it, then click "rasterize type" , right click it again and click "merge down" you will have just one layer again.. double click it, when the layer style box pops up, click "stroke" again, where it says "fill type" change that from color to gradient, click on the gradient and match the colors to the colors of your text by clicking the paint bucket tool and then clicking on a color from your text, now click on the blank side right beside the paint bucket, to create another paint bucket, click on your text again to choose another color.. repeate process til all black and white is gone and all the colors are your texts colors..heres what mine looks like! make sure your settings look like mine.. again, other than the "size", that depends on your text size!

And you are done! heres what it should look like..
